Knowing that he needed to raise the company’s profile, he approached a trade show that would put him in front of some influential brands. Later, aged 16, he discovered Nerf guns and spotted an opportunity to rent them out for kids’ parties. “I made the products myself with ingredients bought online, which didn’t turn out well, so I moved on pretty quickly from that idea,” he admits.
